How it works
- Daily sales close: Baemingo compiles sales, VAT, tips, and payment methods (card, cash, etc.) and posts to Xero.
- Vouchers / API: (a) Vouchers mode: We create daily journal entries in Xero with your chosen tracking categories. (b) API invoicing mode: In addition to journals, we can create invoices via API. (c) If the cashier selects Invoice in POS, an Order is created in Xero; your team can convert/send invoices there.
- Records & references: Entries arrive with clear descriptions, accounts per category and VAT code, and payment references for reconciliation.
- Review & export: Finance can filter, export, and audit in Xero as usual.
What you need
- Accounts per category (e.g., Food, Beer, Wine, Spirits)
- Output VAT accounts (0%, 5%, 20%)
- Accounts per payment method (card, cash, etc.)
- Tip account
- Tracking categories / cost centers (optional)
- Voucher series / posting settings (manual posting must be enabled)
- Invoicing (optional)
